Hi,
I grew up in a family wherein my Dad used to "Live to Eat". He woke up in the morning planning what to cook for lunch and after lunch he would start planning what to have for dinner and after dinner he would discuss what is on the menu for breakfast the next day. When visitors came home, they could not leave without having a meal. People who came to my home only remember the food they were served and the hospitality of my Dad and Mum.
The only gripe I have is that my Dad never shared his recipe's with me or with anyone for that matter. In his later years he did share his recipes with my mum and my sisters. My mother used to help him in the preparation of the food so she more or less knew the recipe. I learnt most of my cooking from her. She used to tell me the recipes and I would try it in my then GF's(who is now my wife) home or my best friend's home.
My then GF's neighbour who is a Muslim and who is till today cooking Biriyani for a living, shared his recipe with me for which I am grateful. I have since perfected it after many trials and errors and now I am convinced that I have the formula to make a perfect "Muslim Dum Biriyani". My No1 fan is my eldest son who always tells me that my Biriyani is the best in the world.
I have been requested to cater for functions after people have tasted my food, so I have decided to "go for it" and start a Catering business. With the help of my family and close friends, I can see no reason why I cannot help make people's special function a memorable one.
I appreciate that the "food bill" is the biggest expense of any function. So I do not take this opportunity lightly, hence when you engage my services to cater for your special function, I take it as an honour and a privilege and I will do my very best to cook the tastiest food using the best ingredients and freshest meat and produce with no expense spared.
My passion is cooking food. I can stand in the Kitchen for hours without feeling tired. I am always trying out new recipe's. My wife is also a good cook and she turns out some amazing dishes some of which are on the menu.
